Lunch @ Sek Yuen Jalan Pudu

This was post dated few weeks back..Now only im blogging about it....

Went for lunch here with my parents ...

To give you a bit of background, Sek Yuen in the 50s is probably the Shang Palace today. In case you do not know, Shang Palace is one of the poshest Chinese restaurants in Kuala Lumpur. Dining at Sek Yuen in the 50s means that your family is probably well-off. That is the case for my dad. His father owns a soap and detergent factory. I guess that explains.

My dad ordered few dishes as what we always ordered when we are eating outside. We don't practice eating out as my parents always cooked... Home cooked food is always the best! Don;t you agree?

Sweet potato leaves

Chives and intestines

Sweet and sour pork

The meals was not so expensive... budgetary wise prolly around 30-40....

Not so good for the food quality and the taste.
